Telephone Calls for Advice
Our staff is well trained to take information from callers and relate it to the physicians or a pediatric nurse. Your call will be returned and the doctor may recommend a particular treatment or medication, or you will be asked to bring your child to the office to be seen, We do not prescribe antibiotics without seeing a child. Please have a list of you child’s symptoms, medications and your child’s most recent temperature when you call. Please also have a piece of paper and pencil ready to take note of advice when you call.
Return phone calls are made continuously throughout the day. We make every effort to return patient phone calls within an hour. If you feel it is necessary to speak to the physician, just inform our staff and your request will be relayed.
